Geographic Location
The Republic of Angola is geographically located in Southern Africa (Atlantic West Coast), Latitude South, between parallels 4o 22' and 18o 02', longitude East of the Greenwich Meridian between the meridians 11o 41' and 24o 05'.
In terms of area and coastline, Angola is located on the hydrographic basins of West Africa’s longest river.
Angola’s long coastline of 1,600 Km and its harbors make the country the springboard to other central and southern African regions.

Clima
Angola has two climate seasons, namely the raining season (running from November through April) and the dry season (extending from May through October). The climate is hot and humid along the coast regions. The average annual precipitation is 400 mm.
